We would stay at Sangley for a couple weeks than sup-deploy to Cam Rahn Bay. Among other things, I watched the last launch of a P5M from the seaplane ramp, which was interesting, and the admiral in charge of Market Time (I forget his name) did his best to kill us by getting low on approach after a tac flight-I remember all the fishermen diving off the breakwater as we skimmed over :-) Ahh, those were the days, fly all day, drink all night.
